Class Levels Explained

Yoga is not about being “good” or “advanced”—it’s about finding the right starting point for you. The following guidelines are here to help you choose a class that feels supportive and appropriate.

Beginner

Beginner classes focus on foundational poses, clear instruction, and a comfortable pace. These classes are ideal if you are:

  • New to yoga

  • Returning after time away

  • Looking to build confidence and understanding

Expect thoughtful guidance, options, and encouragement to move at your own pace.

Intermediate

Intermediate classes are best for students with some yoga experience who are familiar with basic poses and transitions. These classes may include:

  • A more continuous flow

  • Fewer detailed breakdowns

  • Increased strength and stamina

You’re always welcome to take breaks or modify as needed.

Advanced

Advanced classes are designed for experienced practitioners who are comfortable with more challenging poses, transitions, and longer periods of flow or intensity. These classes may:

  • Move at a faster pace

  • Include complex or physically demanding sequences

  • Assume a strong foundation of yoga experience

Listening to your body and practicing with awareness is always encouraged.
